Pig escapes for its life – All creatures tremble at violence, all hold their life dear. Imagine yourself in their position. So neither kill nor encourage others to kill. Dhammapada 129.

Go Pig!

Here, this pig realizes that something is definitely not right, so much so that it risks serious injury to itself by jumping from a truck.

Notice the Buddha’s advice here is to not even encourage others to kill – because you would then be involved in the action and speech of killing – the killing karma.

If you were in the pig’s position, how drastic of a situation would you have thought you were in to escape like this.

So it’s good to see that the pig succeeded to live another day!
